Les Fleurs du Mal Paintings "Chant D'Automne"The inspiration for this painting was a poem by Charles Baudelaire. In this poem he speaks of his dread of winter and his regret for summer: "soon cold shadows will close over us and summer's transitory gold be gone..." In this painting, images of fall are layered with images of life and death.
Element Paintings "Water" Our planet is largely made up of water, our bodies too. Our tears are salty, but we need fresh water to live. "Water" one of the four element paintings, reunites the many forms of water and the animals and plants that depend upon it.
Portraits "Meditation" By turning our mind inward, we expand our capacity to understand ourselves and our work. In this painting, leaves and berries are coming from the inside out and the outside in. Barriers between us and the natural world are sliding away.
